Finance 461 final hints
The final will be given at 1:10 on Saturday in Murphy 103.
It will be mainly multiple choice but I reserve the right to put on certain essay, problems, and true-false questions as well.
It is cumulative. (roughly 40-50% will be new stuff and 50-60% old stuff) Therefore it will cover everything we covered. but I would pay particular attention to chapters 1-5, 7,8,11, 13, and 18-24. I think they made up the meat of the class.
It will not have that much on international asset pricing but will have quite a bit on international diversification.
It does cover the derivatives that we did in class. You should be able to create a hedge for various exposures.
I would make sure to look over chapter 3 again.
It will be challenging but probably more in line with the second test (i.e. easier than test 1).
you are allowed a calculator (not a palm top computer) and a "cheat sheet."
