These pictures show both the original destruction as well as the rebuilding that is going on in the region. While a picture may be worth a thousand words, pictures do not, and can not do the suffering and destruction justice. For miles and miles, the first 4 or 5 blocks are just gone. It is truly an amazing, and saddening, scene.
